Pet Adoption Preview Day at PetSmart in Noblesville

Countryside Animal Rescue launches its 2008 series of Pet Adoption Preview Days at PetSmart in Noblesville. Countryside Animal Rescue to preview dogs and cats available for adoption at a new time in 2008. New date to be announced again soon. Time is from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Countryside Animal Rescue will feature dogs available for adoption and provide information on cats that are looking for forever homes. We maintain a complete and up to date listing of pets available for adoption on the internet through the services of www.petfinder.com.

The PetSmart store is located in Noblesville on State Road 37, just south of State Road 32 at 17180 Merchantile Boulevard next to Best Buy. The event is in cooperation with the PetsMart Charities adoption program and Countryside’s Ambassador Program with Purina Pro Plan’s Rally to Rescue program.

Representatives from Countryside Animal Rescue will be on hand during the adoption event to discuss pet welfare, foster home programs, volunteer opportunities, and upcoming spay and neutering events.

Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic for cats in Anderson

Countryside Animal Rescue will host the monthly series of spay/neuter clinics with a return visit of the Cats Only Spay/Neuter clinic. The low-cost clinic, The Neuter Scooter, offers spay and neutering services for cats and kittens during the one-day visits to Anderson.

The cost is $40 per cat when cats are registered and prepaid online. The fee includes a rabies vaccine and a Rhino/Calici/Panleuk/Chlamydia vaccination. The fee is $50 the day of the clinic. Other optional services such as, Leukemia/FIV testing are available at an additional expense.

Persons are urged to register early as the number of cats to be accommodated is limited and the available space usually fills quickly.

Based in Bloomington, IN, The Neuter Scooter is operated by licensed veterinarian Dr. Tess Peavy.  Representatives from Countryside Animal Rescue will also be on hand at the clinic to discuss spay and neutering, pet education, foster home programs, and volunteer opportunities.
